Requirements
Multiple scholarships available. Most require applicants to be members, spouses, or dependent biological, step or adoptive children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of current or deceased FRA members in good standing. Some scholarships (Mercer, Individual Contributions) are for Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard personnel and their families. Colonel Hazel Elizabeth Benn Scholarship: unmarried dependent children of past and present enlisted Navy medical personnel who served with Marine Corps, entering freshman or sophomore year (deadline April 15). Walter E. Beall Scholarship: for students pursuing aeronautical engineering or aviation-oriented degrees (deadline April 15). Tom and Karen Snee Scholarship: preference for Education and/or STEM courses.
